Question #1: Is this Mortgage Marketing Boot Camp mostly for Mortgage company owners?
Answer: I'll start with a question: Who wants to generate larger fees quick and easy? Mortgage Company Owners and Loan Officer's. These type of people who will benefit most from this Master Camp. At the past Master Camps, we've had a mixture of Mortgage Company Owners and success minded Loan Officer's. Richard Weathington started in the Loan business in 1987, worked in a loan office in Sacramento Ca. as an office gopher (go for this go for that) he soon learned the mortgage business the hard way, by trial and error.
Gaining great experience as an agent he wanted something more, so he set his sights on becoming a mortgage broker. So after working for a few different banks and mortgage companies, he studied for his Real Estate Brokers exam.
Passed it and went on to open his own Mortgage brokerage company. Times were good for a while then a few key people wanted to venture out on their own and get a Brokers license.
Not only did they want to do it on their own they wanted Rich to help them get started. So he looked in to being a credentialed instructor. Many of the mortgage companies he had worked for asked for his assistance in teaching new loan Officers.
In 1995 he started showing every day people, with the completion of his 2-day course, a way to get a California State Mortgage Brokers License. (With no test involved)
Since that time he has worked as an executive at some of the largest Banks in the world, including US Bank, and Saxon Mortgage.
In 1999 Rich was hired as a Regional sales manager for Profound Mortgage Corporation where he completed a multi million dollar deal with Quicken Intuit for Alt-A loans.
He started instructing in 2000 full time for various lenders in the Bay Area and was approached by the American School of Mortgage Banking 2 years later.
Teaching loan Processing, Loan officer training, (FHA/VA/conventional) Mortgage loan underwriting, loan originator sales and Marketing.
Today he is running the Loan Broker Education Corporation; where his past students have gone on to make millions of dollars in loan production over the past several years.
